Oh.. One Oh Nine {wedding accessories}

Well.  Was Sunday not fun.  Hurrahs for team Glasgow Wedding Collective!  {and the Hillhead Bookclub for its loveliness.}

Yup, the GWC vintage style fayre won again.  The fun and pretty was rife, as usual.  And we met a whole lot of lovely wedding-havers-to-be… ooohh looking forward to hearing from them again!

I’ll talk more (no doubt) about all that later…

Today I’m going to show off another one of our fellow GWC suppliers, who we met at the last fayre back in January…

This is pretty darn pretty stuff.

When this lady introduced herself, we just knew she had to be a maker of lovely things!  A chatty, dainty, pretty gurl must do dainty pretty things I thunk.  And ooft.. she does.

Amanda, of One Oh Nine, has quite the interesting story.. studying fashion design and moving to Toronto, then on to Tokyo (ohhhh),  all the while finding and making beautiful things and selling them in collections along the way… Hurrah for adventurous people!

Now back in Scotland, with all her experiences and ideas, Amanda has brought these influences together and created a line of wedding accessories…

ONEOHNINE.

Think dried flower buttonholes and handmade silk hair flowers…

I can’t get enough of these pretty little creations.  And after your w-day.. what a beautiful wee keepsake..  I would be memory box-ing these wee guys and hanging them on display in my house, for sure!  Twigs and feathers and twine, oh my.

And all being custom-made, bespoke pieces… Amanda can rustle up whatever colours or requirements you have..

Oh… Oneohnine.  Wedding pretty of the prettiest degree!  We love.

Have a gander at the website.. its a good ‘un.  A whole lot of lovely.  And for even more pretty pictures… follow on facebook.  I just can’t stop ogling.

(and all you non-wedding-havers.. have a gander also… Amandas previous collections include some rather gorgeous jewellery pieces.. swoonage!!)

Love pretty Love,

Claire x
